Bin Level Detection Switch is an economical point level control device suited for Level Detection application requiring reliable and accurate switching. Detection can be direct, as when the sensing switch is suspended above the product or when it is installed in the bin wall. BIN Level Tilt Switch has the ability to detect all types of products, including Flax, Canola, Barley and Rye.

General Construction and Installation Instructions

  1. The switch is normally close and will signal when tilted approximately 20° in any direction. The switch is rated for 24 VDC / 120 VAC, 1.0 Amp and CSA Approved for Class II, Division 1, Groups F and G, Hazardous Locations.
  2. Adjust chain to a depth that will permit emptying of leg or conveyor after a bin full status is indicated.
  3. Install the switch away from any direct spout flow. Suspension should be a sufficient distance from the bin wall to permit tilting of switch and cable.
